Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups pecan halves
  • 1 cup maple syrup
  • cinnamon optional
  • sea salt flakes optional

Instructions
 

  • Add the pecans and the maple syrup to a heavy bottom skillet. Give the pecans a stir in the syrup an spread across the bottom of the pan. Turn the heat to medium until the syrup just begins to bubble. Drop the heat to medium low and fold and stir the pecans until a sugar forms on the pecans. (This should take around five minutes.)
