This sweet, warm, gooey, delectable treat always leaves both children and adults alike wanting more. That is how the S’MORE got its name. It is a contraction of the phrase, “some more,” I want more s’mores.
History of the Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup
When we lived in PA for a year while my husband attended the Army War College, we didn’t miss out on a couple of trips to the Hershey’s factory. What history! My favorite part was the bus tour and the story of Milton Hershey. Heartwarming! Did you know he decided to decline his ticket on the Titanic sue to his wife’s health? Many children would have missed out on his kindness in his efforts to teach them their worth in life (Milton Hershey School). Not to mention all missing out on his chocolates if he had set sail. - Reese’s Cups
- marshmallows
Directions
Toast the marshmallows over a flame, the eye of a stove, or with a kitchen blow torch.Press the toasted melty marshmallow onto a chocolate chip cookie and set aside. Place a Reese’s Cup onto a second chocolate chip cookie and set aside.Squish the two graham crackers together. EAT LIKE NOBODY’S WATCHING!
