Quick Strawberry Jam Recipe (No Pectin)
Ingredients
- 2 3/4 cups medium fresh strawberries
- 3/4 cups sugar
- 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
3 Ingredient Strawberry Jam Instructions
- In a heavy bottom sauce pan, add the prepared fresh strawberries, sugar, and lemon juice and stir over medium heat to dissolve the sugar.
- Next, increase heat to medium-high and bring to a slow boil. Use a potato masher to mash the heated strawberries. Stir until the mixture becomes thick and is covered in bubbles. This takes about 10 minutes. Turn the heat off and transfer the Quick Strawberry Jam into a jar/jars.
- Cool completely at room temperature. Add the lid/lids and store in the refrigerator for up to 10 days.
