Ingredients
Whipped Feta
- 4 ounces feta cheese, drained
- 8 ounces cream cheese, whole
- 1/4 cup sour cream, substitute greek yogurt
- 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
- 3 +/- tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
- 2 garlic cloves
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon pepper
Feta and Olive Garnish
- extra virgin olive oil
- Marcano almonds
- lemon zest
- flaked salt
Instructions
Whipped Feta
Crumble the drained feta and pat dry with paper towels to remove a bit of the water.
Add the feta cheese, cream cheese, sour cream, garlic cloves, lemon juice, honey, salt and pepper into a food processor. Pulse until completely combined. Drizzle in olive oil until creamy.
Assembly
Add the whipped feta into a bowl or spread onto a favorite platter or board, top with Marcano almonds. Garnish with lemon zest, a sprinkle of flaked finishing salt, drizzled olive oil, and a sprig of thyme or edible flowers.
