- 1 cup lemon or pineapple juice

Preheat oven to 200°F.
Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
Remove the core if you choose. I prefer the entire apple. I love the finished look.
Slice at least 1/8″ with a mandolin or a sharp knife. If you prefer crispy apple chips cut them 1/4″ thick. Place in the pineapple or lemon juice for 15 minutes. I prefer a 1/2 and half mixture.
Remove any seeds. Place the sliced apples on a on the prepared baking sheet. Sprinkle them with cinnamon (optional).
Bake the apple slices for at least 2+ hours or until your desired texture is achieved. If you prefer a crunchy apple chip, cook for at least 3+ hours continuously testing for desired texture.
