Heavenly Mandarin Morning Smoothie
I asked my husband to grab a bag of mandarin oranges on his way home from work. He brought home TWO JUMBO BAGS along with a bag of naval oranges! There are only two humans in our household so we have 50 mandarins and 12 naval oranges to consume.

I am calling this lovely glass of orange deliciousness The Mandarin Morning Smoothie! It seriously will make your socks roll up and down!

Mandarin Morning Smoothie Recipe
Ingredients
- 4 Halo Mandarin oranges , peeled (Halo’s are seedless.)
- 1 banana, ripe and frozen
- 2 tablespoons nonfat greek yogurt
- 2 teaspoons raw honey
- 1/4 teaspoon diced fresh ginger (just a pinch)
- 1/2 cup almond or coconut milk, sweetened or unsweetened
Heavenly Mandarin Morning Smoothie Instructions
Place all of the ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth. Pour into a glass! Enjoy!
Mandarin Morning Recipe Tips
- Add dates for more sweetness.
- Mandarins are seedless so you can put them in the blender whole. However, you can juice them first. Simply add two extra mandarins to the recipe.
- Add a scoop of vanilla protein powder to amp it up.

I tried this with 2 mandarins, a frozen individual Activa plain yogurt and about 1/4 cup of milk and it was awesome! Going to throwing more yogurt containers in the freezer as lots of oranges to use up! Thanks!
