French Toast Kababs with Strawberries and Bacon
Special people on special occasions deserve special food. Today I am sharing something fun I whipped up for my husband this weekend. This is perfect for Father’s Day, Mother’s Day, Sunday Brunch, or any special occasion. Make this for someone you love too!

French Toast Kababs with Strawberries and Bacon
Ingredients
1 loaf brioche bread, unsliced, crusts removed, cut into 1-inch cubes
4 large eggs, lightly beaten
2/3 cup heavy cream
1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
4 tablespoons butter, unsalted
powdered sugar
maple syrup
bacon
fresh strawberries, washed and stems removed
Directions
1. Preheat oven to 275 degrees.
2. Place a parchment lined baking sheet in the oven to warm.
3. Cook the bacon and place on warmed pan in the oven.
3. In a medium bowl, whisk together eggs, cream, cinnamon, and vanilla.
4. In a large pan, melt two tablespoons of the unsalted butter over medium heat.
5. Carefully toss one half of the bread cubes in the egg mixture.
6. Place half of the bread mixture in pan turning occasionally with tongs making sure to brown on all sides.
7. Transfer the first half of the batch to the heated pan inside the oven.
8. Give the remaining bread cubes a dip in the egg mixture.
9. Melt the remaining two tablespoons of butter in the pan and cook the second half of the bread cubes as before.
