What Are Marcona Almonds?

If you are an almond lover the texture and flavor of the marcona almond will knock your socks off. Different than the common California almond, these beauties have a higher fat content. The taste is savory and more “almondy.” They are great for baking and pair well with fish and chicken recipes.

Place the sheet pan in the hot oven and roast the almonds for 10 to 15 minutes. Turn the pan every 5 minutes. Keep an eye on them, they can burn quickly.

Serve warm or at room temperature.
