substitute The Blue Cheese or Gorgonzola

If you aren’t a fan of the strong flavors of blue cheese and gorgonzola, no problem! This appetizer is great with goat cheese or a sharp cheddar.

Ingredients

  • 2 large fresh pears, sliced at an angle (See pear types above.)
  • 1 lemon
  • 1/2 cup gorgonzola or blue cheese, crumbled
  • 12 whole walnut halved, raw
  • raw honey

* If you are not a fan of the strong flavors of gorgonzola or blue cheese I have you covered. Goat cheese or even a sharp cheddar works perfectly.

Instructions

Squeeze a bit of lemon juice on each pear slice and arrange on a pretty serving tray.

Sprinkle a quarter sized amount of the cheese on each pear slice and top with a walnut slice

Drizzle with honey.
