Cornbread Cake, A 100 Year Old Recipe
I am sure this fantastic Cornbread Cake is over 100 years old. A dear friend named Linda shared the recipe and my family has been enjoying it for at least 7 years.
…With just a few ingredients from your pantry, this DELICIOUS CORNBREAD CAKE can be made in a jiffy!

Cornbread Cake, A 100 Year Old Recipe
Ingredients
1 1/2 cups self-rising flour
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup white sugar
3/4 cup canola or vegetable oil
1 cup pecans (You may add 1/4 cup of coconut.)
Directions
This is written exactly as it was given to me.
Place all the ingredients into a mixing bowl (no particular order).
Mix with spoon (30 strokes) until all ingredients are moist.
Pour mixture into a greased and floured 9 X 13 inch baking pan.
Bake for 350 degrees for 30 to 40 minutes.
Cut into squares as you would cut brownies.
