A fun fall treat for the sweet. Enjoy!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 or 4 apples, your favorite type
  • 2 1/2  cups chocolate chips, melted (dark or milk chocolate)
  • 2 teaspoons coconut oil
  • 1  cup caramel, melted
  • 1 tablespoon milk
  • 1 cup, white chocolate, melted
  • wooden sticks
  • ribbon
  • paper straws
  • glue sticks
  • glue gun

Optional: Peanuts, Coconut, Mini Chocolate Chips, Endless Possibilities!

Instructions

Line a sheet tray with parchment paper and rub it with unsalted butter.

Slice each apple into ½ inch thick slices. Insert a wooden stick into the edge of each apple slice. Pat the apple slices dry with a paper towel. This is an important step.

Combine the chocolate chips and coconut oil in a measuring cup. Melt the chocolate in the microwave in 20-second intervals. Stir between each interval until the chocolate is melted.

Holding an apple slice over a plate, use the back of a small spoon to cover the entire apple slice in chocolate. Place the coated apple slice on the lined baking sheet.

Repeat this process with the remaining apple slices.

Place the caramel bits and milk in a glass bowl. Melt the caramel bits in the microwave in 15-second intervals until the caramel is completely melted. Stir the caramel until smooth.

Drizzle the chocolate coated apple slices with the melted caramel.

In a glass bowl, add the white chocolate chips. Melt the chips in the microwave in 15-second intervals, stirring each time. Remove the white chocolate chips from the microwave and stir until smooth.

Drizzle the Chocolate Caramel Apple Slices with the white chocolate.

Place the coated and topped apple slices in the refrigerator until their chocolate hardens.

Using hot glue, slide the paper straw onto the wooden stick. Tie a bow around the straw. ENJOY!
