Frankenstein Pretzel Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F.
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Place the pretzel squares on the baking sheet. Place a piece of caramel on each square.
Bake for 3 to five minutes until the caramel cube just becomes soft enough to press. Keep an eye on these. Avoid letting them melt over the sides of the pretzel. Frankenstein’s head is square.
Remove the soft caramel pretzels from the oven and very gently press a second pretzel square on top. Let them cool completely.
Microwave the green candy melts in 15 second intervals stirring in between until smooth and melted completely.
Using a fork, give each of the Frankenstein Caramel Pretzels a full dip into the melted green wafers. Let excess drip off and place back onto the parchment paper.
Immediately place two short pretzel sticks evenly into opposite sides of the melted wafers and into the caramel. Next, place two candy eyes on before the wafers cool. Cool completely.
Pipe a bit of hair on Caramel Frankenstein Pretzels and a mouth.
The messier the better! This is a mad scientist creation!
