Best Caramelized Pumpkin Spice French Toast Sticks! ADDICTIVE & DELICIOUS!
AVOID using parchment paper, silpat, or a nonstick baking sheet. They cannot endure the heat of a broiler.
Stack the bread and slice it into thick sticks.
Mix the eggs, cream, vanilla, and pumpkin pie spice in a shallow dish with a whisk. Roll each breadstick in the mixture to coat. Place on the prepared pan.
Carefully sprinkle the topside of the French Toast Sticks with PSL Sprinkles. Try to keep the sugar on the sticks! 😉
Bake under the broiler for 2 (+ /-) minutes. Not all broilers are created equally! KEEP AN EYE ON YOUR FRENCH TOAST STICKS! ….Think Creme Brûlée Sparkling Charm Friends! We are looking for the sugar to caramelize.
After 2 (+/-) minutes remove the sticks from the oven, flip with tongs and sprinkle the other side. Bake for an additional 2 (+/-) minutes.
Remove the Baked French Toast Sticks from the oven. Serve hot with syrup!
